The project is led by the design of teaching activities by teacher professional development in order to enhance the teaching quality. The sharing of the teaching plans helps with the deliberation of blending multicultural concepts into English teaching environment among professors. The foundation of sustainable curriculum is the individual success of professor in establishing the mode of multicultural teaching style on the basis of collective instructional objectives and course outlines. The project aims at assisting professors with reflecting their teaching concepts and eventually coming up with the individual teaching method in order to lead students to go deep into English and multi-culture.


The teacher professional development has established since August, 2015 by professors of Freshman English. Professors work out at the reform curriculum through the monthly professional conversation, starting from deciding the course outlines to designing the teaching plans and meanwhile invite experts from the field of multi-culture to have a talk with professors of Freshman English. By the topic discussion the experts lead, in addition to knowing more about multicultural issues, teachers can even develop their professionalism about multi-culture.
